How much does it cost to get a new website?
There are no website creation costs or upfront fees when you choose Certified Pixel. Instead, you pay a monthly subscription fee for our service, which includes the creation of a new website, hosting, SEO optimization, and other features. This all-inclusive model ensures you receive a professional and fully functional website without the burden of large initial expenses.
What do I get with my subscription?
Your subscription includes the creation and hosting of a professional Webflow template-based website with up to 10 static pages (and up to 2000 CMS items or dynamic pages), comprehensive SEO optimization, an SSL certificate, DDoS protection, and 200GB of monthly bandwidth. You also receive one hour of free support per month for updates and coding tasks, as well as access to the content management system (CMS). Additionally, optional ecommerce and payment processing functionalities are available.
What is template-based design?
Template-based design means we create websites using pre-designed templates as the foundation. This approach allows us to deliver professional and visually appealing websites efficiently and cost-effectively. The advantages of using design templates include faster development times, reduced costs, and a consistent quality standard. By starting with a template, we can focus on customizing the design to meet your specific needs, ensuring a unique look and feel that aligns with your brand while maintaining high functionality and aesthetic appeal.
How does the subscription process work?
To subscribe, visit our Subscribe page, enter your email address, select the plan that best suits your needs, and agree to our Terms of Service. We offer both monthly and annual subscription plans, payable via credit or debit card. Once your payment is processed, you will receive a back-office account to manage your subscription, choose a website template, and submit your content. After we finish the website development, the website goes live and you get access to the content management system (CMS), allowing you to manage and update your website easily.
How long does it take to get the new website?
It usually takes no more than 10 days from the time you subscribe to our service to the moment your website goes live. The delivery time can be longer if we need to request any additional information from you during the development process. Our team works diligently to ensure a smooth and efficient development timeline, providing you with a fully functional and customized website as quickly as possible.
Can I host my website elsewhere?
Your website must be hosted exclusively on our web hosting service for the first 24 months. After this period, you have the option to transfer your website to another hosting provider or continue using our services. If you choose to cancel your subscription before the end of the 24-month term and want to continue to operate the website elsewhere, a termination fee applies.
What is the termination fee?
The termination fee is calculated as $40 multiplied by the number of months remaining in the 24-month term. For example, if you cancel after 10 months, the fee will be 14 x $40 = $560. Additional taxes may apply based on your location. This fee applies if you choose to cancel your subscription before the 24-month term ends and want to continue to operate the website with another web host.
What happens if I cancel my subscription?
If you cancel your subscription after the 24-month period, you can download your website and transfer it to another hosting provider. If you cancel before the 24-month term ends, you can either pay the termination fee to transfer your website or terminate the website entirely without the possibility of download. Please note that we do not offer refunds for prepaid periods.
What does the free monthly support include?
You receive one hour of free support each month, which can be used for website updates, coding tasks, third-party integrations, SEO optimization, and marketing consultations. Unused support hours do not roll over to the next month. If you require more extensive updates or additional functionalities beyond the free support, additional programming fees will apply. Most of the content updates can be managed directly by you using the CMS, reducing the need for support.
What are the programming costs for additional updates?
If you need more extensive updates or additional functionalities beyond the included free support, you might need to order additional programming work. The minimum billing unit for programming work is 20 minutes, costing $17 USD. Additional taxes may apply depending on your location. We will provide a detailed estimate for any programming work that exceeds the free hour of support, and you must approve and pay the fee before we proceed with the updates.
What if I miss a subscription payment?
If you miss a subscription payment, we will notify you promptly. If the payment remains overdue for more than 3 weeks, we will suspend your web hosting service. Once the payment is made, we will reactivate your hosting service. This policy ensures that we can maintain the quality and reliability of our services for all clients.
Are there any additional costs involved in creating and operating the website with you?
Our service is all-inclusive, covering website creation and customization, web hosting, content management system (CMS), and support. There may be additional costs if you request programming work beyond the free 1-hour monthly support. Additionally, expenses for domain names are not included in our service and will need to be covered separately by you. This model ensures that you have a clear understanding of the costs involved while receiving comprehensive support and high-quality service.
